Most wedding platforms store your guest data in plain text on their servers — names, emails, addresses, dietary restrictions, all readable by the company and vulnerable to breaches. Wedkit uses end-to-end encryption so your data is encrypted before it ever leaves your browser. We literally cannot read your guest list.
Yes. We use XChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption (the same class of algorithms used by Signal and ProtonMail). Your password derives an encryption key using Argon2id, and all sensitive data is encrypted client-side before being stored. Our servers only ever see encrypted blobs.
